How do you transform a place without erasing its original identity? The key is harmony! The spaces we inhabit possess their own unique character. Our homes protect us from the elements, offer security, and hold our cherished memories. The task of a designer is to create a balance between the shelter and the one that inhabits it!
For this turnkey project, we had the privilege of redesigning a space brimming with potential. The beautiful natural lighting throughout the day, elegant high ceilings, and ideal spatial distribution truly inspired our vision. We aimed to achieve a contemporary yet timeless design, seamlessly blending old pieces with modern furniture and accent elements.
Our goal was to create a fresh ambiance with a clean color palette. In the kitchen, we revitalized the space with painted cabinets, new countertops, and a fresh backsplash. Throughout the house, we selected new flooring and removed architectural elements that dated the home’s interior. To maintain the natural light's beauty at night, we devised a comprehensive lighting plan to highlight different areas, making them feel like one cohesive great room.
For the bedrooms, we created spaces with distinct character that still harmonized with one another. The final result is a pleasing and relaxing environment, where elegant materials and textures tell a story the moment you step inside the home.
